With a median age of 28.8 years, the Lawrence workforce is made up of a multicultural employee base with a rich diversity of expertise and experience. Our labor shed extends throughout Douglas County (843 square miles) and is home to a prime-age civilian labor force of 37,653 and an overall population of 119,094.
